Jammu Kashmir: Second Terrorist Killed In Hiranagar After Overnight Operation

Kathua terrorist attack: The second terrorist in Jammu’s Kathua has been killed in an encounter as the Indian Army moved in for the final assault after an overnight search operation. A video of the Kathua encounter in Jammu & Kashmir showed security personnel in action against terrorists. The video by news agency PTI showed army jawans crouched behind a wall and lying prone by a gate ready to fire at the terrorists hiding in what appeared to be a forested area.

One of the two terrorists was shot dead on Tuesday evening. The terrorists had opened fire at the vehicles of security personnel.

At the same time, terrorists from Pakistan launched another attack on an Army outpost around 200 km away in Doda. One terrorist was killed and seven people, including a civilian and a special police officer, were injured in the shootout that followed. The Kashmir Tigers, a local militant group, claimed responsibility for the attack.
