Pakistan Forced To Change Team Hotel Days Ahead Of T20 World Cup Clash Against India: Report

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 is underway in the United States of America (USA) and the Caribbean Islands. While the first few matches have already happened, the much-awaited India vs Pakistan (IND vs PAK) fixture at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on June 9 has now become the major talking point.
However days ahead of the IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2024 match in New York, it is now being learnt that Pakistan have been forced to change their team hotel, days ahead of the marquee clash. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi reportedly complained of their place of accomodation since their team hotel was 90 minutes away from the stadium.

A report carried by Pakistani news outlet Geo News claims that the International Cricket Council (ICC) changed Pakistan’s team hotel three days befor their match against India. The step was taken after an intervention from the PCB chairman. Pakistan meet USA in their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign opener before their encounter against India.
India Get Off To Winning Start In T20 World Cup 2024
Meanwhile, India are off to a winning start in the T20 World Cup 2024. India locked horns with Ireland in their first match and after bowling the Irish side out for 96, they chased down the target in 12.2 overs. Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged the Player Of The Match for his exceptional spell of bowling as the right-arm speedster finished with figures of 2/6 off his 3 overs.
