Karan Johar, who is known for his captivating storytelling, turned 52 today, on May 25. In honour of his birthday, his close friends Tanya Dubash and Kajal Anand hosted a party in his honour. Kajol, Farah Khan, Anil Kapoor and others were spotted attending the party.

Kajol looked elegant in an off-white outfit, while Farah Khan dazzled in a black-and-blue dress, both fitting for the birthday celebration.Anil Kapoor, accompanied by his wife Adar Poonawalla and Natasha Poonawalla, also graced the occasion.

The birthday festivities are underway in South Mumbai. Surprisingly, it’s the first time Karan’s friends have organized a party for him. The filmmaker learned about this surprise event only this morning (May 24), as it was a last-minute plan.

After nearly 7 years, the filmmaker made a remarkable return with ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani,’ featuring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. The star-studded cast included Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and more. Following this, he produced “Kill” in 2023 and supported ‘Yodha’ starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashii Khanna, and Disha Patani, along with the biographical film ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ starring Sara Ali Khan.

Up next, Karan Johar gears up for the release of ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi,’ featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Produced by Karan Johar, Zee Studios, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta, the film is set to hit screens on May 31. The song ‘Dekhha Tenu’ from the Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ has recently captivated fans’ hearts.
