“Narendra Modi is busy responding to congratulatory messages and cannot even hear the cries of the families of the devotees who were brutally killed in Jammu and Kashmir”, Rahul said in a post on X.This came after PM Modi attended the oath-taking ceremony of TDP supremo and Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu.
“There have been 3 separate terror incidents in Reasi, Kathua and Doda in the last 3 days but the Prime Minister is still busy celebrating,” he added.
“The country is demanding answers – why are those plotting terrorist attacks not caught under the BJP government?”, the post further read.
Earlier in the day, Congress leader Pawan Khera also questioned PM Modi’s silence over the terror attacks saying that “BJP’s loudmouth chest-thumping and hollow claims of return of peace and normalcy in Jammu and Kashmir have been thoroughly exposed.”
“The fact that BJP did not even bother to fight elections in Kashmir valley is a testament to the fact that their ‘Naya Kashmir’ policy is an abject failure,” he added.
Talking about the terror attack in Resai that killed 9 and injured 41, Khera said, “Even as Shri Narendra Modi and his NDA Government was swearing in, and heads of states were visiting the country, India suffered a horrific and gruesome terror attack in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, where 9 precious lives were lost and at least 33 people were injured, when terrorist fired upon a bus filled with pilgrims from Shiv Khori Temple to Katra.”
In a 3rd terror incident, six security personnel were injured in exchange of fire in J&K’s Doda. The incident occurred after terrorists attacked a joint checkpost.
On Tuesday, two villagers were killed in Kathua district after terrorists threw a grenade and fired gunshots at a house in Seda Sohal village of Hiranagar tehsil.
