Following the incident, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, Adarsh Swaika, visited the Jahra Hospital in Kuwait where six Indian workers were admitted. (Image Source: X/@indembkwt)

Swaika also visited the Al-Adan hospital where a few other Indian workers were admitted after sustaining injuries in the fire incident. A helpline number was also put up for the concerned people to provide them updates and assistance.(Image Source: PTI)

EAM Jaishankar expressed his condolences after the incident. “Deeply shocked by the news of the fire incident in Kuwait city. There are reportedly over 40 deaths and over 50 have been hospitalized. Our Ambassador has gone to the camp. We are awaiting further information.Deepest condolences to the families of those who tragically lost their lives. Wish early and full recovery to those who have been injured.Our Embassy will render the fullest assistance to all concerned in this regard,” he wrote on X. (Image Source: PTI)
