Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been happily married for 17 years now. They fell in love on the sets of ‘Guru‘ and ‘Umrao Jaan‘ which they were shooting back-to-back. They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2007 and it was nothing short of dreamy. But did you know that Abhishek had once said that he was petrified to sit next to her when they were travelling to shoot for, ‘Kuch Na Kaho‘?
This Rohan Sippy directorial had released in the year 2003 and the songs of the film are still popular.Abhishek had once said, “I was dreading this flight to Mauritius. We were going to shoot the title song Kuch Na Kaho. I said oh God please don’t let me sit next to her… She was right next to me and I said this is it, I am finished. The woman sleeps like a Miss World as well, I mean she sleeps perfectly (imitates her posture)… and she is out. I couldn’t sleep the entire flight because I was petrified that she was going to wake up in the middle of the night for some water and I was going to be like (imitates himself)…”
Abhishek’s sense of humour is hard to miss, especially when he narrates such instances. Earlier Aishwarya has said in many interviews that even when they were not dating, they instantly hit it off as friends when they had met during ‘Kuch Na Kaho’ and shared a very good professional equation.
Post ‘Kuch Na Kaho’, the duo went on to star together in many movies like ‘Dhai Akshar Prem Ke’, ‘Dhoom 2‘, ‘Umrao Jaan’, ‘Guru’ and ‘Sarkar Raj’.
