Here’s What Players Said In The Post Match Presentation Ceremony
“Obviously, a bad game today. We did not assess the conditions and credit to Bangladesh for the win. I think shot selection and played bad shots and we lost today. We are trying to get the combinations and those two warm up games will be important. Yes, confident of doing well against Canada and we will go back to the drawing board and come back harder,” said Aaron Jones, USA captain.
“I think the boys showed lot of character today and the plan before this match was executed by everyone. Yeah, it’s disappointing for us to lose the series but we gained a lot of experience and we want to show that as a team in the World Cup,” said Najmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh captain.
“Very happy to contribute. I was using my variations and was thinking to make use of the conditions. Feels good to win this award before the World Cup,” said Mustafizur Rahman, who was awarded the Man of the Match, as well as Man of the Series award.
