‘Marry My Husband’ star Choi Gyu Ri lands role in upcoming series ‘Knock Off’ alongside Kim Soo Hyun

Choi Gyu Ri, best known for her portrayal in ‘Marry My Husband’, is poised to charm audiences once again. In the upcoming series ‘Knock Off’, she secures a role alongside the esteemed Kim Soo Hyun.

According to reports from Ten Asia, in ‘Knock Off’, Choi Gyu Ri takes on the character of Kim Seong Hee, the younger sister of the central figure Kim Sejong Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun.

Sejong Joon stands at the helm of the storyline, steering it through the market of counterfeit luxury goods, making Choi Gyu Ri’s role as his sister all the more crucial to the drama.
Furthermore, ‘Knock Off’ is a black comedy set against the backdrop of the 1997 foreign exchange crisis (IMF crisis) and extending into the early 2000s. This series weaves together multiple narratives centered around counterfeit luxury goods. It is directed by Park Hyun Seok, renowned for his work on the popular drama ‘Secret Forest’ Season 2.
Choi Gyu Ri’s ascent to fame was marked by her standout performance as Yoo Hee Yeon in ‘Marry My Husband’.
