Terrorist killed in fresh gunfight with security forces in J&K’s Kulgam

NEW DELHI: A security operation in Jammu and Kashmir‘s Kulgam district resulted in the death of another terrorist on Wednesday. The incident occurred close to the location where two militants were eliminated just a day before.
Officials reported that during a search of houses near the encounter site in the Redwani area, a fresh exchange of fire erupted with a terrorist who was hiding there.
The officials confirmed, “One terrorist was killed today,” and stated that efforts were underway to determine the identity of the deceased.
According to the latest reports, firing was still ongoing in the area.
In a previous encounter with security forces on Tuesday, two militants were killed, including Basit Dar, a wanted terrorist associated with the Lashkar-e-Toiba organization.
