Amidst divorce rumours, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were seen attending their son Samuel’s graduation ceremony. The couple arrived at the ceremony separately to celebrate their son’s achievement. Their interactions during the event raised questions as they chose to maintain distance from each other despite their proximity.
Jlo also brought her twins, Max and Emme who cheered for their step-brother enthusiastically. She looked confident wearing a beige-coloured outfit.
The couple were wearing their wedding rings but they totally avoided being photographed together. This behavior was unusual for the couple as they displayed their affection in public very often. However, over the past two months, their distance has become visibly apparent. They have largely stopped making red carpet appearances together and now arrive separately on most of the occasions.
Further, Ben Affleck’s ex-wife, Jennifer Garner also attended the event, and the whole family was spotted grabbing lunch at a restaurant in Brentwood.
This occurs amid ongoing speculation about Lopez and Affleck’s relationship, heightened by the recent listing of their $60 million Southern California home so soon after the purchase which they made only 13 months prior. Reports claim that Lopez is finding a house by herself and is currently staying with her mom and sisters during this apparent transition.
According to ET, amid reports of their separation, the couple is living independently for now until things settle. A source said that Jen is touring houses and shopping around for her own home. She has been leaning on her mom, sisters, and kids during this transitional period.
The source also mentioned that Ben is sad about it all but is focused on his work, his parental duties, and co-parenting his three children with Jennifer Garner.
